My name is Linzi, I have a degree in Applied Biochemistry from Liverpool John Moores university and did my teacher training in Science at Edge Hill University in 1998.
I have been teaching for 26 years and 4 years ago just prior to covid, my amazing mum was diagnosed with dementia.
2 years ago I made the decision to give up full time teaching in favour of part time to allow me to spend more time with my mum.
I am now looking to leave the classroom to spend more time with my mum as her condition progresses. I do not want to leave behind a career that I have loved. I still want to share my knowledge and teach young people. Evening tuition allows me to do just this.
